“The year is 1923 and archaeologist Ian Jones has discovered and transported an Egyptian mummy to the Bobcaygeon Museum. At the same time, reporter Jane D’Eau has come to town to cover the mummy’s story as well as discover her own past. On the day of the Museum’s unwrapping party, Jane does not show up. Eager to get started, the museum starts the reveal without her. When the sarcophagus opens, Jane is found inside strangled with the mummy wrapping. Was it the mummy’s curse or someone who had it out for Jane?”
Our Murder Mystery production relies highly on the participants. The night starts out in the Murphy Barn with a brief introduction of the plot. Guests are then invited to walk around the Village and talk with the different actors who will be giving out clues to what really happened. The night ends with all guests returning to the Barn with the characters being brought on stage and the murderer revealed.
Tickets are available online or at the Village Office
